Womb rental – surrogacy – ‘is a serious violation of the rights and dignity of women and children’.

The international statement calling for a global ban on womb rental (‘surrogacy’) released on 24 September 2018 and signed by hundreds of women’s human rights organisations from 18 countries – among them Nordic Model Now!; OBJECT; Not for Sale Scotland; UniRadFem Collective; We Need to Talk (WNTT);  and Critical Sisters – is still open for further signatures.
