The Grotius Lecture at the Law Society, London, was delivered this year on 26 June by Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, the UN’s High Commissioner for Human Rights.

He said:

Earlier this month, Britain’s Prime Minister called for human rights laws to be overturned if they were to “get in the way” in the fight against terrorism.
